Creative Process
When starting a new design project, I find it best to meet up initially in person to discuss your goals
and vision of your next design need. In some cases, the idea may not fit the goal, and we review options
and budgets of possible solutions for your business goals. After our initial meeting I get to work.

Research, research, research is the way to start any big project, familiarize your self with the task. After I
feel I have enough research completed to start the design work. Sketches and thumbnail drawings is initially
how I do all my brain storming. From there I put together a series of different design solutions covering different angles and approaches. At this point a lot of work and communication can take place over email .pdf attachments
and phone calls. We discuss portions we like, portions we do not like and we combine the strengths of the
designs and eliminate the flaws.

At this point we are able to target the final piece and start solidifying the project. Reviewing all the
verbiage and type in the design is crucial, no mistakes are tolerated. Often clients will be just as excited
with the design work as I am and they will accompany me to the press check and bindery check.
The satisfying part of design is seeing your visions come to life in paper or web.
